My life at the moment

Almost 2 months away and me and Tyler will be in Korea! You can't believe how excited I am! Tyler is super excited too!! Even though its about a 16 hour travel time, it's definitely going to be worth it. I was planning on going with my parents in the beginning, but then I thought, I do everything with them. I live with them, go to church with them, go on other vacations with them. I'm almost 21 years old, I need to do things for myself every once in a while. And going with Tyler is going to be really fun, and it will also test and strengthen our relationship :) (I hope lol) Lets also hope we don't get sick of each other haha. No we won't, I like being around him, and I know we will have so much fun! It's been kind of a struggle so save enough money to go, we both finally had enough to pay for the ticket a while ago! :) it sucks that I don't make that much at work. I mean if I made more money, things would be so much easier. I know people say that money can't buy happiness, but in a way, it can. Things would be a million times easier if I were a millionaire. But I need to stop dreaming and talk about reality lol. Anyways...School is going great! I am liking it a lot! I love my intro. to Vet. Tech. class. We are learning how to restraint animals properly, ear cleanings, nail trimmings, and physical exams. This class is just a basic class so we i haven't gotten into any of the hard stuff yet. But I'm sure I will still like it then too, I hope. Their is about three weeks left of school, and its coming down to crunch time!! It's been pretty stressful because so much stuff is due, but it's not overwhelming so I'm pretty sure I will survive. I have to take the next two quarters off because of Korea and Camp. It sucks that I am putting my self behind a little bit but have a final break from school will definitely be nice.
My birthday is next Saturday. I'm pretty excited! but then again, it's pretty sad that for your 21st birthday, most people will go out partying and getting drunk, and me? I have absolutely no idea what I am going to be doing! I don't have much friends so I probably won't even be seeing any of them on my birthday. I'm sure I will spend most of my time with Tyler :) which I am happy about, because I love him and he's my best friend! And of course my family! But who knows what I am going to do! You can tell I am getting older because my birthday isn't as exciting as it used to be when i was younger. I'm still pretty excited for it though! :) But not like jumping up and down and excited to have my party at McDonald's lol.
Well I guess I should stop blabbing on. I'm going over to my grandmas and grandpas for dinner with all my cousins, I'm pretty excited, cause I don't see them very much! And for the yummy food of course! :)

Weight issues, just like 90% of Americans have :/

I have always wanted to lose some weight (oh don't we all?) It has been such a struggle with being so motivated (oh aren't we all??) I mean my whole life pretty much I have played sports so I would work out almost everyday for more than a few hours and I liked it!! I would play volleyball for about an estimate 12 hours a week, thats a lot! I wish I could play like that again so I wouldn't have to worry about working out and losing weight. I didn't have to worry about that stuff back then, I could eat like a whole pizza to myself (yes I have done that before...more than once) and not gain anything, I guess after I was done with volleyball I didn't change any of my eating habits and I didn't work out nearly as much. So the result is that I am unhappy with the way my weigh and the way I look. But I am happy! I just wish I could be more motivated and wish sometimes someone would just make me work out like it used to be!

Oh the lovely randomness!

It has been quite a while since I've written last. Not a whole lot of new things has come up, but their has been at least one :) I started school! I am really liking it so far, which is really surprising for me to say. The commute isn't as bad as I thought it would be, it only takes me about 25 minutes on the freeway to get out to Layton so I only have to leave like a half hour before my class starts. I am taking three gen ed courses and one intro. to Vet Tech class. That one is definitely my favorite class by far. Well I guess it should be since I am going into the vet tech program lol. I'm just pretty stoked that I get to wear scrubs :) (It's like wearing comfy pajamas all day!!) BUT...I have not yet received them, they said it could take up to 8 weeks to get here after you order them, and it hasn't been that long yet so I guess I will just have to deal with good ol' jeans and a hoodie for now :/
Me and Tyler were watching lord of the rings the other day, and during the whole battle scene (which their are dozens by the way) But I kept wincing and he kept turning to me and was all like whats wrong? I told him that I didn't like seeing the horses getting hurt. Haha I guess I am going into the right field of work since I am more sympathetic towards animals than people. That's a good sign right? ha or not I don't know.
We are almost up to buying our Korea ticket! I am so excited! And plus I just want to get this whole saving money for Korea over with!! Me and Tyler are going in May and probably staying for a few weeks! I can't wait!! It's going to be so much fun and I miss all of them so so much!!!
My parents are both gone for tonight, my mom is in San Diego at my great aunts funeral and my dad took my other grandparents to my other grandparents cabin for the night. So you know what I am doing all alone in my house on a Friday night?? I am blogging! yep I am that amazing! lol. Yep I'm just chillin on my bed with my wonderful Sadie girl sleepin away right next to me! (man she is just too dang cute)
I know I am just blabbing on, but I am definitely in the mood to type right now and I don't know why!
Olivia is moving in tomorrow!! :) Only for a few weeks but I am still pretty excited! Yeah I like being by myself a lot but it is going to be pretty nice with someone in the house besides my parents (not that I don't love them dearly and like having them around) it's just going to be more fun with one of my friends living with me :)

Vet Tech!

I have finally decided what I want to do!!
I am starting school in January at Broadview university (aka Utah career college)
I am going into their Veterinary Technician program! I am so excited! I have always had a love and a passion for animals and I feel that doing this will make me happy!
If some of you don't know what that is, it's just like a nurse for animals! haha!
It's a two year program, but its going to take me a little longer cause I have to miss a few quarters because of Korea and camp! But other than that I hope I finish soon and so I can work in a Vet, a shelter, or even a zoo! Not exactly sure where yet, but I have plenty of time to decide! I haven't decided yet if I want to work with large or small animals, well I've been thinking more of small cause that's what I have the most experience with. So I will let you know how classes so, it's not going to be the greatest since it's still school :/ but I think I will do better and be more motivated for these classes since I have a goal that I am reaching towards!
I am so excited, relieved, and happy that I finally made up my mind and decided what I wanted to do!

Trails End!!

Wow it has been quite a while since I have posted on here! Its not that I have been too busy or anything, since I havent been doing anything!! lol but normally whenever I post something its because I am in the mood to type, weird I know. So finally I am in the mood to type! :)
Well the last time I posted anything it was 4 days before I went to camp! Forever ago!! It is now the beginning of December!
Camp was the most amazing fun exciting challenging experience I have ever experienced! Over all I wish I would have gone to camp every summer!! I LOVED it!! I miss it so much! And I am so happy that I got invited back for next summer! I am counting down the days....199 to be exact :) I have met so many great friends that I hope I stay friends with for a lifetime! The group I was with (The Debs, 6th graders)Was awesome! I loved every one of them! They were so much fun and HYPER ALL THE TIME!! It was really overwhelming at first cause they were bouncing off the walls! (I was tearing my hair out!) haha but after a while we got in the flow of camp and we all blended very well! I had 9 girls in my Bunk! It was really nice cause we had the largest bunk with the fewest people, everyone was jealous! I would say we were very lucky with that because half of the other bunks could barely fit anyone!
It was very very hot and very very humid!! And I loved it!! Even though I sweat 24/7! The hottest day of the summer I believe reached up to a blazing 110!! And WAY humid! and it was twice as humid in our bunk because the girls didn't want any of the windows open because of the bugs (oh please) and we would take showers a few hours before bed so I would say that sleeping at night was pretty miserable there for a while!! Even though it was hot I would rather live in that weather than the cold snowy weather here for sure!!
I got to go to New York City!! It was amazing! We only got to spend the day there which wasn't the greatest since we didn't get to see very much stuff!! I would definitely never live there though! no way! its way too crowded and it stinks like cigarettes and cars all the time! Other than that it was awesome! I cant wait to go back to the big NYC next summer!
I had the time of a lifetime at camp! And I would say it was the best summer of my life! They always say you live ten months for two! And that is so true! I think about camp and all the fun I had every day! I miss it so much!! I can't wait to go back next summer!!!

4 More days!

It looks like it's been a while since I've updated on here. Nothing too much has been going on but......ONLY 4 DAYS TILL CAMP TEC!! Ah I can't wait! My flight leaves on Sunday at 6 am, that means we have to leave by 4 am...SUCK! But that's ok, I've been counting down since forever and now its finally here! I'm pretty nervous though, I still don't have any info on where I am supposed to go once I get to the airport, I hope they tell me soon or else I'm ganna be spending the night in New Jersey, uh oh! That would not be fun! So it looks like i wont be posting any blogs for, lets just say about 8 weeks! My suit case is superly overloaded! I think I might have too much clothes in there, but I would rather bring too much clothes than too little ya know? But I don't think I have EVER packed so much stuff in my entire life! 8 weeks is a long time!
Well enought about that....it's been super super windy here the last few days. The news tonight was talking about how trees kept on falling on peoples houses and semis were tipping over on the freeway, talk about crazy!! And our poor little birds have to deal with this crazy weather! oh yeah we have baby chicks in our wreath on our front door they're so so so cute!!! We think their is five of them! The momma bird flies away everytime we open the door! We hope they all make it through this nasty storm!
Well it looks like im off to bed! I'm pretty excited for tomorrow, not sure why, but I just love it when all the family gets together. We're having a BBQ over at brandon and jens park across their street!
Well it looks like I'm outta here for 8 weeks! I'm sure I'm going to have loads and loads of stories to tell you about camp! But untill then...see ya!

54 days left!

Yes only 54 days left until I get to go to camp! We haven't booked any flights yet but I hope we do soon, i don't want to wait until the last minute. Livie wants me to go see her before i leave, I really really want to cause I haven't seen her in forever, but i don't know if we can afford to pay more for another flight :(. I hope I can find something cheap though because i know that would be way fun!
The people that i have been talking to on facebook have been telling me a lot of stuff to be prepared for, almost all of them has said, be prepared for rain. YAY!! I love rain!! :) I can't wait until I get there, I hope the people are fun and nice to be around, and I hope theirs no drama, ugh that would suck! But I am planning on making it the greatest experience ever! I want to try a lot of new things like water skiing and stuff, I've tried wakeboarding but i suck at it haha! I'm trying to think of cool things to bring for the girls and stuff but Im not that creative! I'm sure I'll think of something sooner or later.

Fixed!

I took Sadie to get her fixed yesterday. Me and Tyler stood in line for an hour and a half with tons of other people who wanted their dogs fixed too. Sadie was going nut almost the whole time because of so many dogs around, she calmed down after a while, until she noticed the cat in the cat carrier right next to us (Which has been next to us the entire time by the way)so she went nuts again, it kept hissing at her haha! But by the time the spay and neuter truck got there it was finally our turn to let her go :( It was sad to see them take her away, I knew she would be ok, but I know she would be miserable! They told us to come back at 6 to pick her up. when we did, she could barely walk, the vet told me that she just barely got out of surgery an hour before so she'll be loopy for quite a while. She's been pretty much sleeping ever since. She went straight under my bed to sleep and stayed there for most of the night. It was sad cause she was whining a lot, I knew that she was hurting :( well this morning she was laying next to me on my bed, so i think she's doing a little better, still sleeping though. I'm so glad that I didn't have to put one of those hideous cones on her, they told me that female dogs don't lick as much as males do so Sadie didn't need one, whew! She would have hated that! I hope that getting her fixed will make her not want to run away from the house the minute we open the front door lol But I am just so glad taht we dont have to worry about her going into heat anymore. I love my Sadie girl, I hope she gets better soon!

Imma bee!

I guess it's about time that i get my butt back on here! Not a whole lot is going on in my life right now, just counting down the days until I get to go to camp, I'm way excited, I've been talking to some other counselor that are going this summer on facebook, most of them don't even live in the United States which is cool. I'm just trying to get all my stuff together and trying to find a legitimate flight. I might go to Olivias house a few weeks before camp since I haven't seen her in FOREVER!! I know that'd be way way fun! But i'm still thinking about it!
My last final test is tomorrow, its math. Ugh! I hate math! But I am just so glad that it's finally over. I'm probably going to take a semester off just to take a breather and I kinda just want to work right now and save up my money, maybe get a car, I need one, poor little holly is falling apart. (Yes I named my car, haha I don't normally refer to that though) But a new car for me would be great! Daryl left for Korea today, actually he's probably on the plane right now, oh man that sucks he left at 7 this morning! But I hope that they like it over there, it would be scary to move to a different country but i know that they're going to have a great time, I'm going to miss them a ton! But i hope that I can save enough and fly over there for a few weeks, that would be awesome! Well I guess I should just save to go to korea instead of a car haha!so scratch the car idea out!
Well it's about 75 degrees outside! It feels amazing! I love the hot weather! I've been taking Sadie on walks everyday just about, running sometimes but she drags me down lol so it's pretty tough! Me and Abby took her on a walk and we went to the park today, I'm starting to get sock lines of a tan line lol I think i'm going to get a month pass for a tanning place when I get paid this friday! I need a good tan for this summer!
Well I guess I haven't mentioned yet that sadie....Is not fixed! They told me that she was but she's not! How we found out? well.....tyler has a boy dog and he would go NUTS around her! We were all like what the heck is wrong with him? But then I noticed that Sadie was bleeding (yeah gross I know) so yep she can have puppies, which we hope she doesn't. We are hoping to get her fixed sometime soon!
Well that's just about it for now! Sorry I keep on blabbing and blabbing! but I plan on writing on here a lot more, depends on how my day is and if their is anything that i'd want to say!
